KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

Kidepo Valley National Park is a 1,442 square kilometres (557 sq mi) national park in the Karamoja region in northeast Uganda. Kidepo is rugged savannah, dominated by the 2,750 metres (9,020 ft) Mt. Morungole and transected by the Kidepo and Narus rivers.

Kidepo Valley is located in North West Uganda and is endowed with a beautiful savannah vegetation. It is well known for its cultural trail provided by an ethnic group of people known as the Karamajongs. It also hosts an astonishing number of bird species (475) and mammals (75). Its strategic location gives you the best feel of a country home.
